A scintillating evening at The Indian Heights School, sector 23, Dwarka marked the celebration of its 5th Annual Day, MIMAMSA…a journey of life – Vistas 2012, on December 2, 2012 in the school premises. The school wore a festive look with bright and shining faces. The evening was reserved for the gala function. Many distinguished guests were invited on the occasion. Maj. Gen. Kamal Jeet Singh precided over as a Chief Guest and Brig. Sukhdeep Sangwan and Mrs.Anita Sethia Regional Director, DOE were the Guest of Honour. Many Special Guests were also present on this big day.
The Programme was ushered in by lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest Maj. Gen. Kamal Jeet Singh and other dignitaries. The Chairperson, addressed the guests and welcomed everyone. The Principal, Mrs Archana Narain presented the School Report tracing the progress and achievements of the students and said the school has taken long strides and has made commendable progress . Meritorious students were awarded with medals and certificates. Students performed Ganesh Vandana to evoke blessings of Lord Ganesha.
The entire school performed live on stage. The ‘Bachapan’ was presented by the Junior students and ‘Mimamsa…a journey of life’ was presented by senior students which was a rich kaleidoscope of different dance forms. Superb display of light, sound, music, enthralled one and all. The stellar performances of the students spell bound the audiences. Attired in beautiful colours, the dancers illuminated the stage while the audience watched with rapt attention. The different dance forms were treat for the eyes and the show was beyond compare. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by the Head Boy and Head Girl of school followed by national anthem.
