Sunday, December 8, 2024 | New Delhi: (Sure Shot) Under the aegis of the Modern School Old Students Association (MSOSA), the prestigious Modern School Barakhamba Road celebrated its annual sports festival with great enthusiasm and fanfare.
The event was inaugurated by Colonel (Retd.) Vijay Chadha and Principal Dr. Vijay Datta. The day-long sports festival witnessed active participation from both alumni and current students in a variety of sports, including cricket, table tennis, football, squash, chess, tennis, hockey, basketball, badminton, and athletics.
Dr. Vivek Nangia, President of the Modern School Old Students Association (MSOSA), stated that the festival concluded with a grand prize distribution ceremony. The chief guest, Rajeev Shukla, Vice President of BCCI and Member of Rajya Sabha, along with Anuradha Pratap Singh, Kumari Ambika Pant, Justice (Retd.) Mukul Mudgal, and Ajay Verma, felicitated the winners of various events.
The successful organization of the festival was made possible by the efforts of MSOSA Secretary Rishabh Gulati, Brigadier (Retd.) Ashok Abbey, Coordinator Ishan Verma, Co-Coordinator Karan Khurana, and actor Abhinav Chaturvedi, who played significant roles in the event’s success.
