Mother’s Day Celebrated at The Indian Heights School

One of the most important person in everyone’s life is his/ her mother. Being a mother is the most wonderful part of being a woman. So to make students understand the importance of this one lady in their life, The Indian Heights School, sector-23, Dwarka, celebrated Mother’s Day on May 7. It was a day to honour mothers and show them how deeply we love them and need their support all the time.

The function began with the lighting of the lamp by honorable Judges Ms. Radha Tyagi, Ms. Priya Sawant and Ms. Geeta Hiteshi and The Principal, Ms. Archana Narain who also welcomed all the mothers on this grand day. The stunning performance by the tiny tots cast a spell on all the mothers before the latter took centre stage. The Indian Heights School soon became a hub of excitement as the enthusiastic mothers set the stage on fire with the ramp walk. The theme of the day was Woman Of  Substance. The finalists were judged on the basis of their performance and the questions put up by the judges.

It was a day of joy and excitement as children paid tribute to their mother’s and the mothers got a chance to exhibit their hidden talent. Overall, the programme was a huge success and it was appreciated by one and all.
