Observing cloud computing as a fine economic solution in a complex knowledge economy, the government is evolving a policy framework for the same to address concerns as well as drive the cloud revolution.

On the occasion, Sibal also released the CII White Paper on ‘The Indian Cloud Revolution’ and said, “India was still in the process of evolving appropriate architecture to take advantage of the possible revolution.”

The White Paper suggests that the government should play a crucial role in ensuring that Indian entities can avail economic benefits with the cloud revolution. Infrastructure development will be the key government initiative that will provide land, power, technology and human resource to establish India as a data management hub.
