Science and technology are a propellant for building a thriving country, the happiness of the people and the future of the country hinge on their development. Sri Venkateshwar International School believes students are the powerhouse of innovation and hence need to be given tremendous opportunities to show their dexterity and competence. As a culmination of this vision, STEM Expo was organized by Sri VIS on Monday, 22 July 2019, for the students of Classes 9 & 10.
Mr. Ram Datt and Mr. Ramashankar Gupta, Research scholars,NPL,CSIR, Mr. Vikas Narindra,an eminent CEO, Dextrous collection services and Mr. Shaunaq Narindra (Sri VIS Alumni 2015 Batch) graced the occasion where in the fervent and enthusiastic students showcased their novel ideas by way of their models. The eminent judges along with the Principal, Ms. Nita Arora, examined each projector model and grilled the students to bring the best out of them and gave their valuable suggestions too. They appreciated the idea of STEM Expo which gives the students the opportunity to explore science, arts, maths and technology and apply them in real life situations. The Blessed Leaf and Mathematics in Criminology grabbed the attention of the guests.
Students were encouraged to develop a scientific fervor and an attitude of research mindedness so that they develop the qualities of analytical and critical thinking. The STEM Expo facilitated learning in its true sense.
