The Annual Sports Meet of the Primary Wing of The Indian Heights School, Sector 23, Dwarka was celebrated on Feb 4,2017, amidst great mirth, verve and camaraderie in the school premises. Gracing the occasion were Shri Mohinder Lal DIG BSF, an Arjuna Awardee as the Chief Guest, the Special Guest on the occasion as Ms. Arti Kohli Solanki, a Judo Champion and Mr. Naresh Kumar Sharma an Arjuna Awardee as the Guest of Honor. The school Chairperson Ms Madhu Gupta, school Manager Mr Punit Gupta, and school Principal Ms Archana Narain along with other dignitaries and parents were also present.
The day commenced with a welcome song and a welcome address by the school Principal. This was followed by Lighting of the Sports Meet Torch and releasing of balloons to declare the sports meet open. Another added highlight was Hydro Rocket launch. A spectacular, impressive and well synchronized march past by the Primary Wing left the spectators spell bound.
This was followed by athletic events, fun races and races for both parents & students. Demonstrations like Yoga, Aerobics, Taekwondo and Mass P.T. Drill added to the complete flavor of Sports Fiesta. The Chief Guest gave away the Medals and Trophies to the winners and in his address appreciated and congratulated the school Management and the school Principal in their endeavours. It was a day fully enjoyed by one and all.
