N.K Bagrodia Public School, Dwarka organised ‘Tinker Fest’, an Inter-School event on 19TH Nov 2019 ,with an objective of nurturing young minds to think and create. The students from ten schools in Dwarka participated in the event .The fest was special in itself as there was a workshop held for the students by the experts in the field of Artificial Intelligence and then it was followed by an Inter-School Competition that was showcasing the models by the participants.
The event commenced with the lighting of the auspicious ceremonial lamp invoking blessings from the Almighty. The day was graced with the presence of the revered invitees,Mr. Rajni Ranjan, Co- founder in E-Com company and mentor for Start-up kids, Ms Gauri Shah Bhatnagar, a Programe Lead for many schools, Mr, Atul , Senior Technical Lead, Principal of the school Dr. (Mrs.)Rajee N Kumar and the Vice Principal Ms. Anjali Kharbanda along with the teachers and the participants from various schools.The special guests were welcomed by the Principal and the Vice Principal by bouquets . Mr. Rajni Ranjan was presented a painting made by a student and a shawl as a token of gratitude and reverence.
This was followed by a vibrant and divine dance performance Ganesh Vandana by the young dancers which mesmerised the audience. Later rendition of a melodious song by the students won everyone’s heart.
The special guest and ATL Mentor of the event Mr. Rajni Ranjan addressed the audience and spoke about his experiences in the field of Artificial Intelligence. He motivated the students to be more active in understanding technology and generating innovative ideas. Later a special workshop was organised in which the participants were introduced with some of the best works in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The highlight of the day was a competition where the participants showcased their science models based on Artificial Intelligence. They were judged by the mentors and the best models were selected.The fest culminated with a prize distribution ceremony in which the deserving models were felicitated. Maxfort School bagged the First prize for the model ‘Smart Chair’ based on the theme ‘Safety’ and Bal Bhavan School won the Second Prize from its model based on ‘Environment’.The efforts of the students were highly appreciated and the event ended with a message of working relentlessly to foster innovative thinking.
