WATER AND ELECTRICITY FOR DWARKA AREAS – NOW BJP TAKES GOVT. TO TASK

The state level leaders of the BJP have warned the Govt. that if the problem of water in Dwarka and nearby areas is not solved soon, they will stage a Dharana at Airport. They told that the Dwarka area is now getting only 3 MGD water and govt plans to increase it to 10 MGD more but out of this, 8 MGD will be for the IG Airport. Leaders demanded more water for Palam-Dwarka area and they also lambasted the Delhi Govt. for the shortage of electricity by alleging that the govt. is planning to hike the rates of electricity. Vijendra Gupta, President, Delhi BJP, V.K. Malhotra, leader of opposition in Delhi Assembly, Jagdish Mukhi and Dharam Dev Solanki, both MLA, large number of workers and residents in great number joined the Dharna on Saturday, 24th December at Sector 1, Dwarka.
