26 Artists from Bihar, to Participate in the Republic day Parade

On Republic Day 2025, [S.S.Dogra Bureau Chief-Delhi, Himalini Magazine, Nepal] 26 artists from the Bihar Film and Television Artist Association Trust (BAFTA), Munger, Bihar, have been selected to participate in the grand parade at the National Republic Day program held on Kartavya Path, Delhi. BAFTA’s founder and president, Hero Rajan Kumar (popularly known a  Charlie Chaplin-2) is highly enthusiastic about this achievement. Rajan Kumar has had the honor of being a key performer in the national tableau for the past ten years. Since then, he has been preparing with BAFTA artists from Munger, guiding them through his experiences. A decade of hard work has now provided many artists from Munger the opportunity to showcase their talent in Delhi’s tableau.

Among these 26 artists, women form the majority, and they are equally excited to be part of this grand parade. Their selection has infused new energy among the youth associated with BAFTA. The families and parents of the selected artists are feeling proud of this achievement, as participating in the parade march on Kartavya Path during Republic Day is a significant accomplishment.

It is noteworthy that during the Republic Day 2025 celebrations, tableaux from 15 states and Union Territories will be showcased. For this special program, Hero Rajan Kumar and his team have already begun their preparations with great enthusiasm.

Actor, producer, and director Rajan Kumar shared that the Central Government had invited tableau designs from all states and Union Territories. After a rigorous multi-phase selection process, only the tableaux from 15 states and Union Territories were selected for the national event. He expressed joy and excitement that 26 artists from BAFTA, Munger, will participate in the Grand Parade on Kartavya Path, calling it a proud moment for all.

It has also been reported that all selected states’ tableaux will be completed by January 19, 2025, in Delhi. A rehearsal with costumes will take place on January 23, followed by the presentation of the tableaux on January 26 during the Republic Day celebrations on Kartavya Path in New Delhi.
