The Indian Heights School, Sector 23, Dwarka hosted the 5th International Cultural Exchange Program from July 12 to July 15, 2014 in collaboration with YFU. A group of 15 student delegates from Mexico, Germany, Belgium, U.S.A and France visited and stayed in the school premises with the aim of understanding India and appreciating her myriad cultures and traditions. The YFU(I) students accompanied by the YFU representatives were given a traditional Indian welcome. A cultural evening, “GRAMIN SANDHYA”, was organized .The eponymous cultural evening gave them a glimpse of a traditional Indian village. The evening commenced with the lighting of the lamp. The Principal, Ms. Archana Narain, welcomed the student delegates.The auditorium was turned into a village, mehendi corner, pottery corner, palmistry corner were set up, much to the delight of the visiting students. Puppet show, monkey show, and the dance performances by the school studentsenthralled one and all. It was a fulfilled evening which the student delegates enjoyed to the fullest.
