The Ram Janaki Sansthan Positive Broadcasting House (RJS PBH) today concluded a comprehensive workshop focused on preparations for its participation in the upcoming Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention on January 15th, 2025. The workshop, held in New Delhi, marks a significant step for the organization as it transitions from a primarily domestic focus to engaging with the global Indian diaspora. The day-long event featured insights from distinguished guests, detailed program planning, and a commitment to fostering positive communication and collaboration.
RJS PBH Observer Prafull D. Sheth, in his opening remarks, underscored the transformative nature of this international outreach, stating, “Totally from domestic to somewhat international, we are now becoming international.” He praised the ten years of progress achieved by RJS PBH, led by Shri Manna Ji and Deep Mathur Ji, attributing the organization’s success to a shared vision and a culture of positivity, now extending to government and international spheres. Sheth emphasized the workshop’s crucial role in refining presentation skills for the global stage, highlighting the need for meticulous planning, including a minute-by-minute program, precise timing, and designated speaker roles. The workshop will also see the unveiling of RJS PBH’s fourth publication. He recounted past collaborations with other RJS PBH leaders in strategizing on discipline and maintaining consistent standards for all engagements.
Uday Manna Ji further solidified the workshop’s purpose, aligning it with the philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the world is one family), and emphasized the organization’s commitment to connecting with the global community and creating a positive legacy for the current generation. He invoked the Sanskrit phrase “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhina” (may all beings be happy), highlighting the underlying mission of the organization. He also welcomed Swami Chetanananda Giri Ji
Maa Anandmai Sangh from Haridwar Kankhal to the event. The workshop was graced by the presence of Swami Chetanananda Giri Ji, President of Anandmai Sangh, and Major Dr. Gulshan Sharma, a motivational speaker, both of whom shared insightful perspectives. Manna Ji lauded Dr. Sharma’s contributions to RJS PBH and his inspirational role in the tourism sector, particularly his connections with the global diaspora. He also noted the ceremonial unveiling of the “Pravasi Month” banner, inaugurated by former IAS officer Dr. Arun Kumar Panda. Dr. Sharma, drawing from his military background and experience in the service industry, spoke about the importance of “Karma Yoga” (the path of action), its relevance to those dedicated to service, and the importance of education and skill development for positive change in India. He discussed the genesis of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, crediting former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for initiating the event to engage the Indian diaspora. He also emphasized the need for a “positive” mindset, encompassing thoughts, words, actions, dreams, and overall lifestyle.
Manna Ji highlighted the ongoing effort to document the current generation’s positive contributions and announced the upcoming release of RJS PBH’s fourth publication. He also showcased the monthly newsletter as a record of the organization’s activities and invited Rajendra Singh Kushwaha Ji, the newsletter’s guest editor, to speak. Kushwaha Ji announced the upcoming International Pravasi Divas event on December 18th, organized in conjunction with the “Mata Ram Rati Devi Krishak Prayogshala aum Paryatan Sthal ” in Kandarpur, Ghazipur UP. He also confirmed the monthly RJS Positive Media newsletter will be released on the 29th December 2024.
The workshop featured a recorded conversation with Nitin Mehta Ji, a UK-based entrepreneur, who emphasized the importance of positive media and cultural preservation. He highlighted the shared identity of Indians within India and abroad, and the collective goal of promoting Indian culture globally. Mehta Ji praised RJS PBH for focusing on positive narratives and actions. He also discussed the importance of unity and collaboration within the diaspora, urging the younger generation to cherish their cultural values.
Narayan Kumar Ji, a representative of the Antar Rashtriya Sahayog Parishad , Pravasi Bhavan, addressed the gathering, emphasizing his organization’s role in representing the interests of the Indian diaspora globally and advocating for their rights. He also emphasized the need for constructive journalism and praised RJS PBH’s positive approach. He briefly discussed the waves of Indian migration, mentioning both indentured laborers and more recent professionals in prominent positions. Mr.Narayan Kumar Ji acknowledged the diaspora’s role in preserving Indian values globally.
Co-orgnizer of the Webinar Deep Mathur Ji, RJS observer highlighted the unique contribution of RJS PBH in welcoming the diaspora, stressing their crucial role as ambassadors and their contributions to India’s global image. He emphasized the need to ensure future generations of the diaspora retain their cultural roots.
Surajit Singh Deewar Ji, organizer of monthly programs with RJS PBH, spoke about the upcoming International International Human Solidarity Day program on December 22nd. He stressed the importance of truth and honesty in communication, and challenged all RJS members to actively participate in programs both online and offline. Manna Ji also announced the upcoming program on December 31st, a celebration of Dr. Madan Kataria’s birthday, the founder of World Laughter Yoga Guru.
The workshop concluded with Manna Ji emphasizing the need for action and concrete steps for positive change, urging the use of technology to disseminate positive messages widely. He announced the launch of RJS PBH’s Facebook Live program and the sharing of recorded workshop segments on YouTube. He reiterated the importance of conveying the workshop’s key messages to the younger generation, emphasizing the need for collective support in achieving this goal. He highlighted upcoming programs, including a tribute to the late Devansh Sahay Ji and Chingari Devi Ji, Parents of Dr.Pushkar Bala ,
a discussion on International World Meditation Day, and a commemoration of the Kakori Train Action martyrs on December 19th. The final program, on December 18th, will focus on International Migrants Day. Manna Ji reiterated the commitment to welcoming both Pravasis and Apravasis on January 15th, emphasizing trust as the foundation of a meaningful life and a connected world.
