Kalka Apartments, Plot No. 31, Sector 6, Dwarka, New Delhi celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and national pride on Saturday, the 15th August. 2026 in Society premises.
The event commenced with unfurling of national tricolour by the Chief Guest Shri A S Chhatwal, Prominent Social Activist of Dwarka Sub City followed by soulful recitation of national anthem by the residents.
In his address, the Chief Guest – Shri A S Chhatwal, emphasised the importance of unity and individual responsibility in nation
building. He also appreciated the efforts of Management Committee in development of Society.
The Office Bearers in the Management Committee: Shri Atul Srivastava – President. Shri Gaurav Maggo – Vice President, Shri B L Kapoor – Secretary, Shri N C Das – Treasurer and other MC members were present.
On this auspicious occasion, children of the Society performed patriotic songs, traditional folk dances, portraying India’s rich
diversity.
The celebration witnessed with a symbolic tree plantation drive in Society premises. The female residents of Society also enjoyed TEEJ festival.
Besides residents of Kalka Apartments, members of various social and cultural associations and residents of nearby Societies also joined the celebrations.
The event was concluded with Prize distribution to the winners of drawing competition and distribution of sweets and refreshments among the participants, guests and residents.
