Apeejay School of Management organized Seminar on Dynamics of Managing Teams on 30 November 2013 to discuss significance of teams in contemporary organizations, best practices in team management and impediments of effective teams.
Ms Anila Rattan, Chief, Strategy, Larks Learning elaborated the value of understanding differences of personalities in augmenting intra-team collaborations and group effectiveness. Ms Chaitali Mukherjee, Country Manager, Right Management India, talked about dysfunctions of teams and emphasized the need for building trust as a cornerstone for nurturing great teams. Mr Ajith S N, Principal Consultant, PwC, enlightened the participants about various roles played by the teams members and how conflicts could be turned into collaborative opportunities by fostering an ambience of understanding in the groups.
