DWARKA FORUM meeting was held with Shri Madan Lal Meena, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) on Saturday, the 23rd July, 2022 at his office in Sector-23, Dwarka, New Delhi.
Dwarka Forum (DF) discussed various law and order related issues pertaining to Dwarka Sub City ranging from the incidents of chain/bag snatching, drinking in parks and other crimes being occured in Sub City.
DF discussed the cases of cyber crime in Dwarka and also requested for regular night patrolling in Dwarka, New Delhi.
Shri M.L. Meena, ACP shared the information about the action already been taken on drinking in parks, as well as night patrolling etc.
Dwarka Forum emphasised the need of more CCTV Cameras for major inter-sections, service roads and also additional street light poles, particularly for dark spot areas of the Sub City.
The ACP assured that Delhi Police will also approch the appropriate authorities for additional CCTV Cameras and Street light poles for Dwarka Sub City.
The Assistant Police Commissioner was also briefed by Dwarka Forum about the encroachment on footpaths, pavements and service roads particularly near markets etc.
Dwarka Forum requested the Assistant Police Commissioner (Dwarka) for servants/tenants verification drives particularly for DDA pockets and residential plotted areas.
We also brought to his notice about dumping of malba/construction waste on vacant land. ACP also briefed the members of DF about the action taken on the issue.
Dwarka Forum brought to the notice of ACP (Dwarka) about recent increase in the numbers of beggars particularly at all major inter-sections of Dwarka Sub City.
Shri Madan Lal Meena, ACP (Dwarka) gave patient hearing to all the issues raised by Dwarka Forum and assured suitable action on all the issues discussed in the meeting.
