Mr. Ramesh Gupta, President, All India Newspaper Editors Conference (AINEC), the Apex Body of Editors in this Country has condoled the sad demise of Mr. Anand Kumar Wanchoo, Office Secretary of the Organisation in Bhopal today.
Mr. A.K. Wanchoo, who served AINEC for the last three decades, passed away peacefully in Bhopal today morning. He was 94 and is survived by his wife and two daughters.
Mr. Wanchoo after retiring from the Press Information Bureau (PIB) in the year 1985 and serving various Ministries including Defence as Principal Information Officer, joined AINEC as Office Secretary in 1987.
“Mr. Wanchoo was very dedicated and caring, who served AINEC for more than thirty long years and gave his best for the Association. He was loved by one and all. His parting has left the Apex Organisation poorer”, said Mr. Ramesh Gupta, President, AINEC.
“He lived for the nationalistic value till the very end” , said Mr. Bishamber Newar, Secretary General of the AINEC.
