Students of R.D.Rajpal School paid rich tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his 148th birth anniversary, at a special assembly. The programme started with the school choir rendering “Vande Mataram”. Values and principles of Mahatma Gandhi were elaborated though a speech, a poem and a skit that recreated the historic Dandi March. The nukkad natak on “Swacch Bharat Abhiyan” highlighted the role of students in promoting cleanliness. The dance item, a fusion of western beats and “ Raghupati Raghav Rajaram” stole the show. Principal Ms. Alka Kshatriya encouraged the students to adopt and promote clean and hygienic living standards and become responsible citizens of the country.
