Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with great fervour and enthusiasm at The Indian Heights School, Sector 23, Dwarka from September 2, 2019 to September 4, 2019. The idol of Lord Ganesh, the remover of all obstacles was installed with great fanfare on the 2nd of September in the open hall. The ‘Visarjan’ or immersion of the idol took place on September 4, 2019. A religious Pooja was performed in the morning which was attended by the school faculty along with members of the Management, parents and several guests. The idol was taken on a procession around the school to the accompaniment of music, drums and cymbals. It was a joyous, colourful and enthusiastic program.
