In a recently conducted elections, Indira Gandhi National Open University Retired Employees Welfare Association (IGNOU – REWA) formed it’s new Governing Body for the period of two years w.e.f. 1st April, 2026 to 31st March, 2028.
The team comprising of Professor M S Senam Raju : President, Shri A S Chhatwal – Vice President, Shri Deepak Israni – General Secretary, Dr Gulab Jha- Joint Secretary and Shri Gulshan Arora – Treasurer.
The Executive Members elected are: Professor T U Fulzele, Dr Sunil Kumar Das, Shri Ravi Mendiratta, Shri Ashwani Kaura, Shri Vinod Kumar, Shri K K Kutty, Dr K C Pandey, Dr R S Rana, Shri N D Sharma, Shri Ved Parkash, Shri Nand Kumar Gupta, Ms Geeta Sharda, Ms Renu Katyal, Ms Poonam Loomba.
The election was conducted very smoothly in a transparent way by Dr S K Pulist, Returning Officer. The newly elected Governing Body members extended their heartfelt thanks to all the members for giving the opportunity to work for the welfare of the members and assured for creating an environment, where everyone feels valued and inspired to give their best.
President Professor M S Senam Raju thanked everyone for their faith and trust on the newly elected Governing Body and assured to work diligently to meet the needs of members.
Shri A S Chhatwal, Vice President, assured that association will take all effective and lawful steps for solution of the issues pertaining to the retired employees.
Shri Deepak Israni, General Secretary promised to work tirelessly and collaboratively with everyone to serve our community and address the challenges ahead.
After taking over the charge, the new elected Governing Body members appreciated the services rendered by outgoing governing body.
