In order to inculcate the value of Tolerance, the students of classes IV & V were involved in the ISA Project, ‘Tolerance :A Pathway to Peace.’ The main aim of this Project was to inculcate and promote tolerance among the citizens of Indian and UAE and how it will impact the people living in different parts of the world. The Project also helped in creating awareness about world peace, justice and equality.
School was involved with a school in UAE in this effort. The students gathered information on the role of Mahatma Gandhi from India and His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan from the UAE. They researched on the efforts made by these two men in spreading the message of tolerance. This information was then complied in a well-illustrated Power Point Presentation and was presented by the students of both the schools. They also undertook a Quiz to test their learning on this issue. This work was shared between the two schools and they exchanged their views through a skype session.
