Sir,

I wish to draw your attention to 2 bottlenecks with suggestions to remove these:

1) While heading towards NH-8 from Dwarka via sector 22, soon after under pass many vehicles take a left turn to enter the service lane. The population of vehicle taking left turn is so high that it occupies the full road space and creates a long jam like situation. The jam can be avoided just by widening the ‘left-turn’. There is ample adjacent kuchha space available for this. The road is under maintenance by DDA Project Manager Flyover Division 1, Vikas Minar. I request that a reference be send by TP to DDA for the same.

2) The second bottleneck is soon after entering Vasant Kunj Road from NH-8. Most of the times there is traffic jam. After some distance there are 2 cuts in the central verge and this is the place where most of the traffic jams starts. Many a times this jam spills up to NH-8. The root cause of this is narrow road coupled with obstructive parking. At this juncture many vehicles coming from opposite side takes U turn but due to parking on road vehicles are not able to take U turn in one attempt resulting in traffic jam. If traffic police can simply ban parking for some distance before and after these cuts, at least 50% problem can be solved. Though this is a taught task but if traffic police can exert its might this can be done.

Hope due consideration would be given to these.

Thanks
Yours faithfully,
