A bill to amend the RTI Act [THE RIGHT TO INFORMATION (AMENDMENT) BILL, 2013] has recently been introduced in the Parliament to exclude the Political Parties from the purview of the Act. All the Political Parties have unitedly agreed to pass this amendment bill.
Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and National Election Watch (NEW) strongly supports the online petition initiated by National Campaign for People’s Right to Information (NCPRI) India. The petition urges the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to recommend the issue to a parliamentary standing committee for further consultation. We just have a few hours left and we need to make our voice heard more than ever.
We need atleast 1 lakh signatures before delivering this petition.
