SOUTH AND NORTH KOREA CUTUTURAL TROUPES TO BREAK GROUND FOR THE FIRST TIME IN CITY BEAUTIFUL AND ENTHRAL RESIDENTS

With continuous push by North and South Korea for peace, for the first Dance and cultural troupes from both Koreas will be coming together and breaking ground with their performance in city beautiful on November 29, 2018 .

The cultural troupes from Both North And South Korea will be enthralling residents of Tri City on November 29 ,2018 at Auditorium of Post Graduate Government girls college , Sector 42 in Chandigarh.

The North and South Korean cultural evening is being organised by Korean Honorary consul General office ,Chandigarh and Korean Cultural centre in India .

“The traditional dancers from South and North Korea will be performing various traditional dances respectively as due to long divide between Two nations the dance style has also changed with time. Another highlight will be performance by Korean musicians with traditional instruments” said His Excellency Jagdip Singh , Honorary Consul General, Republic of Korea, Chandigarh .

“Some of the traditional dances that will be performed by cultural troupes from South and North Kore will include Janggu dance, a musical dance performed with traditional The Jangu (Jango) a two sided drum playing from their waste, Four Seasons, mainly based on North Korean style of dance with South Korean flag symbolising unification of both countries, Minyo, south Korean Folk Dance and Taepyeongmu, a Korean dance wishing peace for the country” said His Excellency Jagdip singh.

“another major highlight of the groud breaking evening will be Short duration video exhibiting the Korean culture and values .

H.E. Ambassador Mr. Shin Bongkil of Republic of Korea in India will be present on the occasion along with dignitaries from both countries as well as representatives of Korean companies around Chandigarh .
