Shama Kapoor, Headmistress and Reena Kalra, International Coordinator, from Sri Venkateshwar International School, Sector – 18, Dwarka visited their partner school Cynwyd Sant in Wales, UK as part of an ongoing British Council Connecting Classroom Partnership.
The visit led to greater exchange of ideas and technologies; thereby expanding the horizons of learning for both the schools. The partnership has become more meaningful as it involves the local community in Dwarka and Maesteg, Wales, UK as well.
The Indian teachers shared the literary richness of the Ramayana, poetry writing, numeracy games, art work and the river Ganges and Thames project. They brought back learning of creative crafts and teaching aids to enhance learning. It is rightly said, “Whatever we possess doubles its value; when we have the opportunity of sharing it with others.”
