Tisca Chopra, Manish Gupta and Sakshi Sem were recently seen in the capital to promote their upcoming movie Rahasya

Tisca Chopra is an Indian actress who starred in the well-reviewed play Dinner With Friends and very much appreciated for her performance in Taare Zameen Par (2007) with Aamir Khan. She recently visited the capital to promte her upcoming movie Rahasya along with her co actor Sakshi Sem and Director Manish Gupta. The film revolves around the story of an 18 year old girl, Ayesha Mahajan (Sakshi Sem), who is murdered in her own house. Her father Sachin Mahajan, played by Ashish Vidyarthi is deemed the prime suspect for the murder. Kay Kay Menon, in the role of CBI Chief Sunil Paraskar picks up the case and soon finds evidence that makes it more difficult to determine who exactly is responsible for Ayesha’s death. The film also stars, Mita Vashisht and Ashwini Kalsekar in key roles. The music is composed by Ranjit Barot.

On being asked about Tisca’s role in the movie she says, “Manish offered me a different role which was much more glamorous but I prefer to be Ayesha’s mother. It is an intelligent murder mystery. I can’t reveal much about the character. It’s a fictional story and not inspired by any real life story. It’s an entertaining, gripping story”.

While Director Manish Gupta also added few words by saying, “The movie is not based on Aarushi’s Muder Case and is a different story and different concept which revolves around it. There is no connection to any real life murder case nor is it loosely based on any Aarushi’s case. My movie is a fictitious murder mystery. There were few myths that the film shooting is done in Noida but that is also a hoax”. Sakshi Sem also said that, “This is not my first movie. I have also done Raju Chacha as a child artist”.
