The students from class III to VIII of The Indian Heights School, Sector-23, Dwarka, participated in Tree Plantation Drive to generate awareness about the importance of trees and also to be more environmentally aware and work diligently towards conservation of nature. The green brigade of the school planted and watered the saplings with utmost care and commitment. The students also pledged that they will take care of the plants and keep the surroundings clean and green. The Principal, Ms. Archana Narain, spoke on environment and the importance of trees and conservation. She reiterated the fact that all of us should not litter the environment as this alone itself is choking the earth. The students enjoyed this activity a lot as they soiled their hands in mud to get close to Mother Nature.
