Zonal level of IRC( International Robotics Competition) was hosted by Sachdeva Global School on 1st July , 2017 on the theme ‘Tomorrowland’. More than 25 schools participated at three different levels -Junior, Middle and Senior . This event was organized by Building Blocks. Globalites Dhruv Malhotra and Avinash Jakhar of XII B bagged the third position at the Senior Level.
The motive of the event was:-
To build scientific temperament and 21st century skills in students; and also have a rich learning experience by participating in the event.
To build an eco-system of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) based on hands on learning and to promote creative thinking, problem solving skills through challenging and educational robotics competition.
The students were encouraged to participate in the event to learn and showcase their skills.
