In the auction of residential plots held on 13th and 14th and 15th March, 2013 by Delhi Development Authority 19 plots were sold as against 28 plots put to auction. The highest bid was received for plots in Rohini with the bid for plot at Sector 18 of 200 sq. mtrs for Rs.6.81 crores against reserve price of Rs. 6.80 crores. The second highest was Rohini Sector 8 Pocket F.19 of 120 sq.mtrs. for Rs.5.35 crores as against reserve price of Rs.4.50 crores approximately. The lowest bid was received for some plots in Rohini of 32 sq.mtrs. approximately which were auctioned for Rs 66.00 lakhs as against reserve price of Rs.63.38 lakhs. The total amount of Rs.46,61,81,000/- was realized for banking plots as against a reserve price of Rs.38,73,09,078.00 crores approximately.
It may be mentioned that DDA offered 33 plots of different sizes on freehold basis located in various residential colonies such as Dwarka and Rohini, Zafrabad, Yamuna Vihar for auction out of which 5 plots had to be withdrawn due to legal issues and thus only 28 plots were put to auction.
