Music Album of Feature film “CHEHERE” A modern day classic,Written & Directed by Rohit Kaushik, starring Jackie Shroff, Manisha Koirala, Gulshan Grover, Hrishita Bhatt Aarya Babbar, Rakesh Bedi, Geeta Vij and Divya Dutta was released on 31st July 2015 at ‘The Club’ in Andheri.

“Chehere” is releasing on 28th August 2015. The music was released by the distinguished team of the film, Producer Inderjit Singh Daheley and Writer& Director Rohit Kaushik, Music Director Jaideep Chowdhary and the background score Composer Sanjoy Chowdhary (son of the legendary Music Director Salil Choudhary) along with actors Gulshan Grover, Divya Dutta & Hrishita Bhatt. The Film’s leading Stars, Manisha Koirala and Jackie Shroff could not make it for the Launch as they were out of town. Other distinguished guests present at the occasion were: Zila Khan the noted singer and daughter of Vilayat Khan Saheb, actress Sahila Chaddha, Bijon Das Gupta, Vinod Nishchal- Pallavi Agarwal from Rich Juniors Entertainment and others.

Gulshan Grover said that Chehere was very close to his heart and one of his favorite films as it was unique in its story telling and powerful in dramatic content, he strongly feels that everyone would be able to relate to the Film and cherish the film. The Media Journalists present for the Launch were in awe of the melodious music composed by Jaideep Chowdary.

Director Rohit stated that the Film’s B&W portions are shot in India, and the Colour portions are shot in England. The essence of the film A Modern Day Classic – CHEHERE are the people, the masks they wore, the lives they lived and the turmoil they faced, in a society structuring itself. The deception, the deceit, the passion and the will to survive unfold in the film. Filmed in Colour and Black & White, it captures the period and emotions…. Chehere is cinema within cinema. It is a psychological thriller set in 1952 in England, it is a drama of pure essence captured on celluloid, it plays with the inter-relationships of the main cast in the film. Our Protagonist, Tarana, brought to life by Manisha Koirala, is a silent era star who did not find her footing in the Talkies cinema and moved away to the U.K. She lives in a huge Mansion with her sister and a retinue of domestic help……the film unfolds under many dimensions and the characters are humans existing with facades and many Masks that they adorn to survive. A classically mounted film…the canvas is musical, tense and as the film progresses the mystery deepens and the ending shocks you. This movie is presented by A.M.Movies (UK) Ltd.
