Delhi based Viren Barman (first runner up) and Altamash Faraz (second runner up) winners of the recently held Mr India 2016 Pageant in Mumbai were accorded a grand welcome by their family and friends at Delhi Airport today morning.
Both looked dapper and suave in their attires . Viren was seen wearing oxford blue suit, (left in the pix attached ) whereas Altamash (right in the pix) opted for a lighter tone and went for a light brown suit. They were returning to their beloved home after months of grooming and gruelling sessions during the Mr. India pageant .
Altamash Faraz was named the second runner-up while Viren Barman got the first runner-up award. Menon succeeds Mr India 2015 winner Rohit Khandelwal, who is currently Mr World 2016. The Mr India 2016 winner will represent India at the Mr World 2017 male beauty pageant, which is organised by the Miss World Organization.
More than 10,000 men had sent their entries for the Mr India 2016 competition. Out of the total number of entries, the organisers selected the top contestants who were mentored by Prasad Bidapa, show director, Nivedita Saboo, fashion director, Amit Khanna, fashion photographer, and Abbas Ali, celebrity fitness trainer.
Today Viren Barman, the first runner up of Mr. India visited his alma mater Symbiosis International University in Noida at a felicitation function . Viren who completed his education from Symbiosis International University in 2013 spent some time interacting with the faculty and the students. The faculties shared their memories of Viren’s college days describing him as a sincere and a hardworking student. The close knit ceremony ended with a high tea and few picture clicked at the college facade. Both have hectic schedule in Delhi and Noida for next couple of days
