Football Legend Pele Inspires Hetauda Academy Students Through Life Lessons and Mentorship

Hetauda, Nepal – Sept. 13: Over 25 students of Hetauda Academy turned a holiday into a day of learning and inspiration by watching a documentary on football legend Pele.

The special screening was organized by Prof. S.S. Dogra, renowned journalist, author and media campaigner, who has been mentoring students and teachers for the past two months, sharing his expertise in media, life skills and personal development. Invited as a guest teacher from Delhi, India, by Shri Arun Sumargi, Chairman of Hetauda Academy, Prof. Dogra encouraged students to draw life lessons from the journeys of great personalities to shape their own ambitions.

The documentary highlighted ’Pele’s extraordinary journey from a humble childhood in Brazil to becoming the “King of Football,” emphasizing his perseverance, discipline, and global achievements. Students were deeply inspired, while teachers noted that such initiatives, even during unexpected holidays, help reinforce the values of dedication, hard work, and dreaming big.

Hetauda Academy is associated with the All Nepal Football Federation (ANFF) which is the official governing body of football in Nepal, responsible for the promotion, development and regulation of the sport across the country. Established in 1951, ANFF organizes national leagues, tournaments and football programs at all levels, from grassroots to professional. It is affiliated with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and FIFA.
