FLO Mumbai chapter of the FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO) , the women’s business wing of the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) will be celebrating it’s 20th anniversary last evening in Mumbai .
Mumbai Chapter , Chairperson , Tehmina Khandwala and past Chairpersons FLO organised an evening to celebrate the achievements of over 20 years of the FLO Mumbai Chapter at Hotel Trident.
Current Chair FLO Mumbai Chapter, Tehmina Khandwala highlighted in her welcome address on the successes and achievements of the Mumbai Chapter and its iconic projects. She also spoke of the extensive work done by the Mumbai chapter over the years and the impact that it has had on transforming the lives of women in every section of society.
She welcomed National FLO President Jayanti Dalmia who congratulated FLO Mumbai on an outstanding 20 years and also spoke on the various initiatives that FLO had undertaken such as the Start up cell to promote women entrepreneurs.
The event was attended by the eminent personalities including Zeenat Aman ,Industry leaders Renuka Ramnath, and Sushil Jiwrajka, MK Sharma former vice chairperson HUL,Maneck Premchand Artist Ajay De and eminent lawyer Shobha Jagtiani. They thanked and acknowledged for their continuing support and mentorship to the FLO Mumbai Chapter.
The evening also saw Princess Krishna Kumari of Panna. The evening saw dance performances by Vaidehi Rele and Sree Nandy troupe of dancers , depicting the rich heritage of Indian culture. There was as outstanding display of art painting and a silent art auction as well.
Kiran Gera , Founder Chairperson , FLO Mumbai Chapter and Past National President spoke about the history of FLO Mumbai chapter and how it started and introduced those who walked the journey with the chapter.
Vinita Bimbhet, Past Chair and Past National President FLO took us through the journey of 20 years and the contributions of each of the past Chairpersons.
Rashida Bhogani, Executive Finance Director, The Brand Union gave the vote of thanks and acknowledged all present.
FLO Mumbai Chapter was founded in the year 2002 and today has over 300 members.
