Under the aegis of the Antrarashtriy Sakaratmak Sahitay Manch (International Positive Literature Forum), the December poetry gathering and birthday celebration was held on 13 December 2025 at the Community Hall of New Kanchanchanga Apartments, Sector-23, Dwarka, New Delhi, in a highly dignified and enthusiastic atmosphere.
The programme was presided over by senior Navgeet poet Dr. Subhash Vashishth, while the chief guests were senior satirist Ram Kishor Upadhyay and Devendra Manjhi. On this occasion, the 80th birthday of the Forum’s advisor and senior poet Prem Bihari Mishra was celebrated with literary joy, following Sanatan traditions, through Vedic chants, aarti, the lighting of 81 lamps and the offering of a garland of 81 flowers.
The event began with a Saraswati Vandana presented by Ranjana Bhushan, followed by a welcome address by the Forum’s President and renowned Poet Dr. Kirti Kale. The poetry session was enriched by poetic recitations from Virendra Mansotra, Ramesh Gangle, D.C.Mathur,Pankaj Sharma, Prof. S. S. Dogra and Babita Pandey. The presence of Prem Bihari Mishra’s family members further made the celebration memorable.
The programme was efficiently anchored by poetess Dr. Varsha Singh and the event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Forum’s ’s Secretary, Sanjeev Kumar.
