The Green Warriors of Sri Venkateshwar International School, Pranjal Agrawal and Devanshi Sharma attended the ‘First Youth Conference – Earth and Man!’ organised by The Achievers’ Programme in association with The Doon School, Dehradun, along with their mentor Ms. Reena Kalra on April 23 and 24, 2013.
The conference gave an opportunity to young ambassadors to understand the problems that plague world and take action in making a positive impact in the world. 30 schools from all over India participated with their presentations, pictures and drawings portraying their concern for the environment. The conference provided the opportunity for students, leaders of tomorrow, to interact, network and establish ties that transcend cultural diversity and geographical barriers.
The Headmaster, The Doon School, praised the efforts put in by all the teams and their concern for The planet Earth. Each one came out of the conference room a bit more sincere and conservative towards Planet Earth.
