Sri VIS felicitates its awardees on Appreciation Day

Roy. T. Bennett once said, “It doesn’t matter how many times you were knocked down; all that matters is you get up one more time that you were knocked down.”

Sri Venkateshwar International School celebrated ‘Appreciation Day’ to recognize and honour the achievements of its talents of Class VII – XI session 2018-19 on 30 April, 2019. The event commenced with a kaleidoscopic peep into the unprecedented achievements of the students in all the areas of school life. The musical maestros ‘Sri Octave’ of the school gave a melodious rendition.

The event was graced by the presence of dignitaries namely, Sh. Sushil Kumar, Hon’ble Deputy Director of Education, Zone 21, Delhi, and Dr. Parul Gaur, Deputy Commisioner, Indian Revenue Services. The School Chairman, Sh. Sailander Solanki and the Principal, Mrs. Nita Arora, welcomed the Special Invitee guest and Guest of Honour with green accords.

The students were felicitated by the dignitaries according to the laid down categories with Certificates, Trophies, Books and Cash prizes. It was followed by a dance seeking the blessings of the presiding deity, Sri Venkateshwar, which left the audience completely mesmerized. The grand finale saw the awardees gleaming together for one last bow on the stage.

The special invitee, Sh. Sushil Kumar and the Guest of Honour, Dr. Parul Gaur, bolstered the young prodigies with their sagacious words of experience. They highly appreciated the school and its leaders calling it one of the best schools of Delhi. The event culminated with the rendition of the National Anthem.
