SYNERGY 2017 – Annual Inter College Management and Cultural Fest

Apeejay School of Management and Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication jointly organized the Annual Inter College Management and Cultural Festival ‘Synergy 2017’ on 27th and 28th October, 2017.

The fest saw an amalgamation of various games and competitions and was an everlasting endeavor to inculcate world-class competencies providing a platform to students for exploring and showcasing their talents. The fest was open for all colleges in various categories. More than 15 colleges of Delhi NCR participated in the fest.

The key attractions of the first day were sports events like Slow Biking, Three Leg Race, Tug of War, LAN Gaming among others and various other competitions like RJ Hunt, Solo Dance, Group Dance to name a few. The second day was more on the glamorous side as it hosted events like Fashion Show, Mr. & Ms. Synergy, Street Play and Flash Mob. Other competitions included Ad Mad Show, Pot Decoration and Hand Painting. All the winners were awarded with prizes by the Guest of Honour, Mr. Sharad Dutta.

Ms. Astha Khandelwal and Mr. Deepak Bajaj bagged the titles of Mr. and Ms., Synergy 2017-18. Ms. Sneha Ghosh and Mr. Madhur Bharadwaj were adjudged Ms. and Mr. Personality respectively and Ms Nandita Tanwar was adjudged Ms Talented.

The event was sponsored by Royal Enfield, Antriksh India and Pure Essentials and co-sponsored by Bajaj Capital, Consult Tax, Pushpanjali Creations, Rio Fusion Drink, Columbus Sports, Soni Brother’s and Son’s Associates Group Of Constructions and AK Vision Opticals.

Prof Sareen, summing up the experience of the cultural extravaganza, said, “It was great to see the artistic and sports side of our students. He said “I am happy to see our students immersed in celebrations, through singing, dancing, showcasing creativity, sports etc. And to top it all, it’s a traet to watch when they let their hair down during the JAM Session.

Like every year students worked enthusiastically for the fest and thereby learned the skill of planning, organizing, marketing and financing of an event, time management and teamwork. This also stimulated confidence and leadership skills among students.
