On ‘World Kidney Day’ Venkateshwar Hospital, Dwarka, New Delhi organised a HEALTH TALK on the topic of ‘ Protect Your Kidneys on 13th March, 2025 in their auditorium.
Dr. (Lt. Gen.) Prem Parkash Varma, Principal Director, Department of Nephrology & Renal Transplant, gave an informative presentation, which was followed by an interactive session with the audience.
Dr. (Maj Gen) D V Singh, Principal Director, Department of Urology, Uro-Oncology, Robotics & Renal Transplant with Dr. (Lt. Col) Aditya Pradhan, Principal Director, Department of Urology, Uro-Oncology, Robotics & Renal Transplant, replied to the various queries raised by the audience.
The Retired employees from NTPC and Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) were invited by the hospital for the important session and their presence was in large number. Dwarka NTPC Forum was led by Shri G K Agrawal and IGNOU retired employees team was led by Shri A. S. Chhatwal.
The hospital also invited and felicitated the patients undergoing dialysis and those who have got their kidney transplantation done in Venkateshwar Hospital along with their attendants. The patients shared their experiences with the audience.
On the basis of the presentation given by Dr. (Lt. Gen.) Prem Parkash Varma, a quiz was also organised and prizes were distributed to the winners.
Overall the event was very successful with the presence of more than hundred people. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri Manish Agarwal, Senior Deputy General Manager, Sales & Marketing, of the hospital.
