YOGA CAMP at Dwarka– A GREAT SUCCESS

The International Yoga Day was celebrated on June 21. Yoga is an ancient 
physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in India. The word 
‘yoga’ derives from Sanskrit and means to join or to unite, symbolizing the 
union of body and consciousness. This is now being practiced all over the 
world and is growing in popularity.

In keeping with this popularity, the United Nations in 2014, proclaimed 21 June as International Yoga Day. International Yoga Day aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga. In the sub city, the International Yoga Day was observed with zest at various parks. Dwarka Hello Moms, an NGO working for underprivileged also celebrated International Yoga day with lot of  enthusiasm. Dwarka Hello Moms and Sycorian matrimonial Services organised Yoga Camp on Friday 21 June at the DDA Park behind sector 22 Manish mall. 

The camp was organised on occasion of International Yoga day. Asian Gold 
medallist Yog Guru Kishan Kumar Garg and Yoga Guru Manmohan Gupta conducted the program. Timings of the camp was 6 to 7.30 am. The yoga gurus demonstrated yogaasan for well being and healthy living. Dr Sunil Aggarwal Accupressure doctor discussed 4 diseases that can be cured through Accupressure including BP, Sugar, thyroid and cervical. He demonstrated pressure points that can give relief to patients. Patanjali Yoga Guru Manmohan Gupta, silver medallist demonstrated yogasans, pranayams and astang yog for 4 diseases BP, sugar, Thyroid and cervical. He also demonstrated asans for sciatica and arthritis patients. He made everyone do Surya namaskar, yogic jogging and gave a lecture on Ayurveda. Kishan Kumar Garg, gold medallist and Asian champion demonstrated difficult 
asans.
