As we say goodbye to the year gone by and prepare to usher in the New Year, let us see what are favourite Zee TV stars are going to be up to this Christmas & New Year’s Eve.
Ankita Lokhande (Archana of Pavitra Rishta) I usually like to keep my New Year celebrations a private affair, and will be doing just the same this year too. I will be with Sushant, my family and close friends. Or maybe we might go somewhere for a small celebration – just the two of us! We have yet to finalise on something. |
Sara Khan (Mona of Ram Milaayi Jodi)
New Year’s eve is always a super busy time of the year. Post my shoot on 31st, I will be going for 2-3 parties, and will be hosting a party for my friends and relatives at my house too. I want to gift myself something really classy, probably a one piece dress with good color combination. I will be shopping for the occasion soon. It has been too long since I have splurged on myself! |
Krutika Desai (Bharti of Ram Milaayi Jodi)
This year, Christmas & New Year, are going to be extra special for me as I have my sister and family coming down from Amsterdam. Since my brother- in- law is Dutch, we will be celebrating Christmas in a big way with a fully decorated christmas tree, lights and carol singing. For New Years, we have a wedding in our family home in Gujarat where the entire family from all corners of the globe will be in attendance. So it is a big family reunion that I wouldn’t miss for the world! |
Puru Chibber (Sachin of Pavitra Rishta) |
Rithvik Dhanjani (Arjun of Pavitra Rishta)
Sadly, I think that we will be shooting during Christmas so only if I get any spare time post the shoot that I will be going to a friends place for a Christmas party. But for New Years, I will be finally going home to Dubai to spend time with my family. Due to other commitments, I haven’t been able to bring in the New Year with my family and friends back home so hopefully we won’t be shooting for atleast those 3-4 days so that I can make the trip back home. My friends have even sent me a complete itinerary for the number of days that I am there so it is definitely gonna be a choc-a-bloc holiday and then back to the sets on Jan 1! |
Mrinalini Tyagi (Tejaswini of Pavitra Rishta)
No matter how much time I get for New Years, I have made a firm resolve to just relax at home. Whether it is just for a day or 2-3 days, I am going to treat myself to some ‘me’ time and maybe get a few spa treatments done; a manicure-pedicure…something nice and relaxing! After the hectic shoot schedule, I am really looking forward to just relaxing at home. I am not one of those people who has to go out and party the night away…I need my time to rest and rejuvenate. |
Sumit Vats (Rishi of Hitler Didi)
I want to start my new year by praying to God. I will visit the Siddhivinayak temple and seek the Almighty’s blessings for 2012. I will pray for good health because if I am in good shape, everything else will follow. I am also planning to buy a new house in Mumbai, and I will begin house hunting on the first day of 2012. What I definitely do not want to do is party! I don’t want to start my New Year with too much of noise and hungama. |
Smita Singh (Sunaina Bhabhi of Hitler Didi) While the rest of the world is out partying, I’ll be eating a nice dinner and spending time with friends and family at home. I’ve realized the perfect place is with your loved ones and your closest friends around the dinner table over a good meal, talking about the past year and the year to come and things you want to change in your life. And I never make it to midnight, ever. I tend to fall asleep before it’s 12!!! (laughs) |
Rati Pandey (Indira of Hitler Didi)
I am hoping that I will get some time off to spend New Year’s with my parents this year. While I have not decided what I will be doing exactly, I will probably go out on 31st and party with my friends while 1st will be specially reserved for some quality time with my family. With a shoot schedule that has me shuttling between two cities it does become difficult to spend any time with my near and dear ones. |
