Basant Panchmi Celebrated at The Indian Heights School

“Basant Panchmi”, is an occasion, which marks the advent of the spring season. On this day  worship Maa Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom. The students of  The Indian Heights School, Sector-23, Dwarka, celebrated Basant Panchami with great fervor and enthusiasm on February 4, 2014. To mark this occasion, the Little Steps students celebrated ‘Yellow Day’, and they came dressed up in Yellow colour clothes.

To seek the blessings from Goddess Saraswati, the whole school assembled at the Hawan Ceremony organized in the school premises. The pooja started with a melodious Saraswati vandana and after that, Prasad was distributed among the children. This day was filled with the spirit of festivity.
