2. One pipeline from Iradat Nagar to Dwarka WTP is commissioned
3. Dwarka Water Treatment Plant (WTP) tested & commissioned
4. Pipeline from Dwarka WTP to CT-2 cleaned, ready
5. Water will be supplied to different sectors from CT-2, Sec 3.
6. DJB has not taken “Dwarka Water Distribution” officially from DDA, process of handing over is in progress.
Gray Area
1. Quantity of water received via Munak Canal not sufficient to run three additional WTP (Bawana 20 MGD, Dwarka 40 MGD & Okhla 20 MGD)
2. Not clear Delhi will get additional 80 MGD water due to saving in line losses.
3. Haryana only agreed in Delhi High Court to shift water supply from Kuchha Western Yamuna Canal to Cement Lined Munak Canal only.
4. Haryana has objected to cut for Dwarka WTP at Irdat Nagar in Delhi High Court. Haryana informed to court on Feb 06 that “Haryana government said it has some objections regarding contentions made by DJB, particularly on the connecting of Dwarka with Munak. 5. Haryana Chief Minister declared in meeting at “Niti Ayog” in presence of PM that other states shall also provide water to Delhi on Feb 08, 15.
6. Internal water pipes for Dwarka Sectors are Rusted/ Blocked/ Leaking/ Missing.
7. Even some sectors Under Ground Reservoirs & Booster Pumping Station (UGR/BPS) not constructed or incomplete
Time Will Tell when adequate water will be available to all sectors throughout the year.
We have waited 15 years, now something is moving.
