The DTC bus service on route Nos. 717 and RL-79 has been changed to suit the needs of the residents of Sectors-22 and 23 of Dwarka. The frequency of RL-79 service, which was extremely bad in the past, has also been increased considerably after vigorous persuasion & persistent efforts of SUKH DUKH KE SATHI SANSTHA, Sector-23 Dwarka. However, the extended bus service has been provided on experimental basis. These Bus Routes cover many important places of the city, including Metro Stations of Sector 8 and 21 of Dwarka. The Sanstha appeals to all the residents of these sectors to share this information with their relatives and friends and make extensive use of this facility themselves so that the extended service proves economically viable to the DTC and the routes remain in service. In this endeavor of the Sanstha, the co-operation of the DTC authorities has been highly appreciable, who have further assured for all possible improvement in the bus service including modernized Bus Queue Shelters and augmentation of the bus services, in future. The routes and timings to be observed henceforth by these buses are given below. IMPORTANT NOTE: “All-route” passes are available for Senior citizens @ Rs. 50 (non-AC) and @ Rs.150 (AC) per month, from 34 outlets including DTC Bus Depots of Uttam Nagar, Hari Nagar, Shadipur, Nazafgarh and Scindia House on production of age proof and irrespective of their monthly income; between 0730-1930 Hrs daily and from 0830-1600 on Sundays, except public holidays. The passes can be made for 1 month to 5 years.
Kindly inform the timings of the new Red bus "Exp79 Dwarka sector 21" and the Bus route. This will help the commuters immensely. also please give the fare of the bus.
I have been tracking the timings of RL-79 bus and found that the bus timings are not adhered to properly and less number of trips are carried out in comparison to the frequency mentioned in the time table. complaints have not yielded any positive results. The commuter is facing hardships as RL-79 is the only bus which goes from patel bhawan to sector-23.
The administration should look into the matter accordingly.

This route does not cover ful Sector-23 as well as Pochanpur. It will be better if these buses take turn from Paramount School to Pochanpur and take round about from there come to Paramount School to take their usual route. This will definitely increase the passengers who would like to travel in these buses. The first stoppage on this road could be near Mall (Sector-23) and the second Pochanpur. You may consider adding this route for these buses. Thanks
