All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. There is nothing like playing sports with true sportsmanship and dedicated passion. JMIS organized SPARDHA 2014, an annual athletic meet on 29th November, 2014.

The event began with march past wherein JMIS contingent showcased stupendous display of unity, symmetry and synchronization. Director, Mr Yogesh Gupta and principal, Mrs Anuradha Govind, furled our school flag high along with school song and releasing a bunch of colourful balloons symbolizing a spirit of freedom, celebration and selflessness. Sports captain Ravi Vashist of class XII A administered the sports day oath ceremony.Students of class III – V reverberate the ground with their dance performance on skates. Then, principal, Mrs Anuradha lit the torch of torch relay ceremony followed by the students which represented the spirit of Olympic, purity and perfection. 

Finally a series of recreational races were organized for students, teachers, and other staff members. Everyone participated actively, enjoyed every bit of each event and cheered their respective teams with vibrant Hollywood and bollywood numbers. A lively atmosphere of enthusiasm, zeal, a healthy competition and cheer filled the event.

Sovereign had bagged the first position, followed by Republic, Secular and Democratic. All the teams danced at their victory. The event concluded with national anthem.
