An inspiring session was organized on Tuesday at New Era Senior Secondary School, located in village Parol under Bhoranj tehsil. On the special invitation of the school’s Managing Director, Amit Thakur, renowned journalist, author and media academician Prof. S.S. Dogra, currently based in Delhi, interacted with nearly 100 students and shared key principles for achieving success in life.
In his energetic and motivational address, Prof. Dogra introduced the “Three-C Formula” — Curiosity, Creativity, and Confidence. He explained that curiosity opens the door to knowledge, creativity helps individuals stand out from the crowd and confidence provides the strength to achieve one’s goals. He emphasized that if students imbibe these three qualities in their lives, they can reach any height of success.
He also encouraged students to actively participate not only in academics but also in sports and co-curricular activities. During his speech, he cited inspiring examples from the lives of Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi, Ravinder Nath Tagore, Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Chhetri and renowned author Napoleon Hill, urging students to dream big and work persistently to turn those dreams into reality.
This session marked Prof. Dogra’s 331st media workshop. Notably, he has conducted over 330 media workshops across 20 states in India and half of Nepal. This was his first formal academic interaction in his ancestral village Parol and in Himachal Pradesh, which he described as an emotional and historic initiative for himself.
At the end of the program, students enthusiastically asked questions and shared their experiences. They described the session as highly inspiring and said that the interaction would pave the way for positive change in their lives.
