There is no arguing the fact that behind every successful man, there is a woman. But a lesser known fact is that behind every success story there is a period of hardships, failure and misery. Fame never comes easy, especially for stars. Contrary to popular belief, not all Bollywood stars were served fame and money on a silver platter.

Many biggies like Sandip Soparrkar, producer Manish Mudra, Sheetal Jain, Harish Iyer faced failure, disapproval and the wrath of sadists but what makes their story worth giving a read is that they went against all odds and came out winners.

The struggle period was long and frightening! Many of them had no house, not even a morsel of food and survived on a petty amount. They never gave up! Just went on kicking with sheer grit and incredible determination. There is no doubt about the fact that they work really hard.

Life Coach Shivani Khetan giving a platform to our stars to express their inner most feeling without fear through her no-profitable origination called ExpressO. ExpressO is a Mumbai based startup focused on showcasing the most powerful “Real Life Experiences”.

Shivan Khetan said, “Our mission is to reach out to people to express, engage & empower them to face any situation in life. Our first open mic features speakers from different walks of life sharing their real life experiences, their struggles, embarrassments, joy and much more. Each one of us has a story. They are different but the fact remains that we all have them & this is what brings us together at ExpressO”.

Manish Mundra-
Dare to dream is what Manish tells us!! He has produced movies like Ankhon Dekhi, Umrika & the lastest blockbuster “MASAAN”. Coming from a small town of Deoghar, Manish was full of fear and had no resources. He suffered from inferiority complex and was an extremely shy person. But he is a dreamer, wants to achieve it all. Come let’s hear how he made it to where he is today, a CEO/ Filmmaker (Drishyam Films).

Harish Iyer
Harish Iyer is an equal rights activist who fights for the rights of humans and animals in the same vein. Harish’s jovial disposition and care-free attitude are quite the opposite to the stereotypical image that one would build in the mind given the seriousness of the causes he associates with. Harish’s childhood was challenged by repeated sexual abuse, and today, he speaks about it openly to ensure that there is awareness on the issue. Besides male Childhood sexual abuse, Harish also lends his voice for animals. He is also in the list of one of the 7 most “LGBT activists in the world you should know about” and a part of the World Pride Power list along with Ellen De Generes and Ricky Martin. He is the only Indian in this list. He is a columnist, an activist, a teacher, an altruist and a whole lot of fun.

Sandip Soparkkar
He came from a conservative Gujarati business family. His dad, an army man was against him being a dance choreographer. It was all about making those big bucks in a corporate set up. But he chose to go against it all & follow his passion. No money but only passion!! Come hear how he made it to where he is today!

Sheetal Jain
Ever since she was a child, Sheetal Jain was taught that a sex worker’s daughter could only end up in the flesh trade. Living most of her life in the red-light district of Kamathipura, not knowing who her father is and even being at the receiving end of violence could not, however, convince the spunky teenager to accept this fate. Come listen to this amazing 19 year old girl!
