Shriram Automall India Limited (SAMIL) – India’s Largest Phygital Marketplace for used vehicles and equipment generated business worth Rs 145 crore during its Mega Diwali Auction Week that was organised from 17th October to 22nd October 2022.
Over 120 auctions were conducted in the week-long celebrations at 120+ locations pan India to let customer bid for their choice of used vehicles & equipment and bring home brand new happiness for a prosperous Diwali.
Over 28,000 used vehicles, equipment and other assets from a full spectrum of sellers across Consumers, Banks, NBFCs, Insurance Companies, OEMs and Dealers, Leasing, Rental and Aggregator Companies, Brokers, Transporters, Contractors and End users were displayed and ramped. With 7000+ inventories sold, the company provided Power of Choice to its customers to buy their preferred vehicles and equipment. All the used vehicles and equipment were available from all segments like cars, trucks, construction equipment, farm equipment, two-wheelers, and three-wheelers for acquisition and disposal under a single roof.
During the unique Mega Diwali Auction Week, flexibility was of great importance as auctions were held at different locations at different times allowing multiple auction opportunities to our esteemed customers across the nation. The week-long event recorded footfalls of over 17,000 customers at 120+ Automalls from tier I, II, and III cities across India. Overall, SAMIL Mega Diwali Auction Week 2022 achieved Rs. 145+ Cr worth of transactions.
During the SAMIL Mega Diwali Auction Week, the company provided Phygital Solutions (Physical plus Digital) integrating with new edge technologies like Desktop Live Bidding and MySAMIL App with an aim to create all-inclusive mobility solutions for buyers and sellers. Interested customers also participated in Live Streaming of auctions on MySAMIL mobile App. This feature allowed customers to watch the vehicles running in real-time at any ongoing auction across India.
