Janamashtami festival was celebrated with gaiety at The Indian Heights School, Sector 23, Dwarka. A cultural programme organized by Junior Wing marked the celebration of this auspicious festival. Enthusiastic tiny tots, dressed up as charismatic Krishna and beautiful Radha added to the spirit and aura of the festivity. The decoration depicted the glimpses of the life of mischievous Krishna.
The chanting of bhajans, the colourful matkis added to the vibrant and colourful ambience and left the audience mesmerized. School Principal, Ms. Archana Narain spoke about the teachings and life incidents of Lord Krishna and encouraged the students to pray & seek his blessings. The entire ambience at school turned devotional and everyone’s spirit got soaked in love for the ‘Bal Gopal’. The school premise resonated with the chants of ‘Hare Krishna’.
