A delegation of Dwarka Court Bar Association calls on Delhi Chief Minister


A delegation of Dwarka Court Bar Association lead by its President Sh. Naresh C Sharma accompanied by all executive committee members including Secretary Sh. P S Singh today called on Delhi Chief Minister, Smt. Sheila Dikshit in her office at Delhi secretariat. The Divisional Commissioner, Sh. Dharampal was also present on this occasion.

Members of the Bar Association placed their views on creation of two more districts and reorganization of sub divisions under various districts. They stressed upon the need of effecting reorganization of sub divisions with revenue districts on the basis of proximity of the localities with respective district courts. Smt. Dikshit stated that a committee is already seized of this issue. The Committee is being directed to look into the issue of this sort of demand submitted by Dwarka Bar Association keeping in view the proximity, feasibility and administrative convenience of the administration as well as general public. The Committee would also interact with Dwarka Bar Association for finalizing its conclusion. Smt. Dikshit made it clear that creation of two more districts making total number of the districts to 11 is going to stay.

Parliamentary Secretary to the Chief Minister, Sh. Mukesh Sharma joined the Members of Dwarka Bar Association in demanding reorganization of sub divisions with revenue districts on the basis of proximity. He also welcomed the creation of two more districts in the Capital City which would go a long way in bringing administration closure to public.
